Dismania is a  Calgary based punk band. The band is made up of Jesse Valentine on guitar and lead vocals, Blair Turner on bass and backing vocals, with support from a rotating cast of drummers. The group was started in the fall of 2022 by Jesse and Blair. They have a focus on DIY, doing as much as possible on their own, including making merch, recording music and every other step of the process. The band released "Ode to the Lost Art of the Slumber Party Massacre", a concept album centered around 70s and 80s horror films, on Valentine's Day 2024.
